What we are
A French school in its own right, with a genuine bilingual culture.
Les Petits Gaulois was founded in 2014 by Laura Messier on East Coast Road. We follow the French Ministry of Education curriculum, alongside Singapore’s ECDA early childhood guidelines.
Children move between French and English every day, not in a separate language class, but through songs, stories, instructions, meals and play. French is in the meals. English is in the classroom. Both are in the playground.
Optional Mandarin is available for 2.5 hours a week, in three levels.

Two languages, one ordinary day.
French and English aren’t a subject here. They are the day. Morning greeting in French, story time in English, recess in both, lunch around a French menu, afternoon project in whichever language the teacher leads.
Our French and English teachers plan every week together. The children meet the week’s ideas once in French and once in English, with each teacher.
